1. Who is responsible for your data
Vida Nueva Maternidad, located at Baja California 375, Col. Hipódromo, 06100, Mexico City, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data. For any question about this policy, write to us at contact@vidanueva-maternidad.mx.
2. Data we collect
We only collect the data you choose to give us:
- Intended parents: first name, last name, email, phone, country of residence and date of birth.
- Surrogates: first name, last name, phone, city, date of birth and the health information described in section 3.
- Anyone: the information you decide to share with us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
If you accept cookies, browsing data is also collected, as explained in section 6.
3. Sensitive personal data
To assess whether a candidate can take part as a surrogate, the form asks for health information: number of pregnancies and children, natural births and C-sections, complications in previous pregnancies, contraceptive use, weight and height. This is sensitive personal data. We only process it with your express consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the form, and only to assess your profile. Access is limited to the staff involved in that assessment.
4. How we use your data
- To answer your questions and requests for information.
- To tell you about our surrogacy services.
- To assess the profile of surrogate candidates.
- To follow up on processes started with us.
We do not sell your data or use it for any purpose other than those described here.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with third parties, except where required by law or where it is an operational necessity directly linked to your process.
The technology providers that host our website and our internal management system process data on our behalf and only to provide that service.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
When you arrive on the site, we ask whether you accept advertising measurement cookies. Your answer is stored in your own browser and is not sent to us.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): it is only activated if you click “Accept”. It records the pages you visit, form submissions and clicks on the WhatsApp buttons, to measure how well our ads perform. Meta Platforms may set its own cookies and process data such as your IP address and browser identifier, under its own privacy policy. If you click “Decline”, the pixel is not loaded.
- External resources: to display fonts and some parts of the site, such as the Instagram feed, your browser downloads files from external providers (for example, Google Fonts), which receive your IP address as a normal part of the connection.
You can change your choice at any time with this button. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
7. Your ARCO rights and withdrawing consent
You can exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation or Objection (known in Mexico as ARCO rights), and withdraw any consent you have given us, by writing to contact@vidanueva-maternidad.mx. Include your name, the right you wish to exercise and how we should send you our reply, and attach a document proving your identity. We will reply within 20 business days at most.
8. People living in the European Union
If you live in the European Union, we process your data on the basis of your consent and, where relevant, to respond to your request before a possible contract. In addition to the rights above, you can request the portability of your data and the restriction of its processing, and lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country (in France, the CNIL).
9. Retention
We keep your data for as long as it is needed for the purposes described or until you ask us to delete it.
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or improper disclosure.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
